Senior couples and Friday night at the Adrian Tropical Restaurant

This side of the building is quite peaceful and scenic.  The restaurant is just off a busy, noisy highway.

Elder Low and Elder Roberts are both attorneys.  Elder and Sister Low are from Canada.  He serves as assistant legal council for the church.  The Roberts are from Arizona and are serving as PEF missionaries.
Left to right: The Hammons are Welfare missionaries from Cheyenne Wyoming;Elder Ford and his wife are the secretaries for the SD West Mission office; The Glaziers are the MTC president(When they are finished here they will have spent 10 years serving in Spanish speaking assignments); Eickbushes are the SD East Mission secretaries.  He was the US Surveyor General; and the McDermids from Canada.  They are both licensed mental health professionals who do that very thing in the Caribbean and Central America.  A very diverse fun group!
We all had some good samples of native cooking.  The steak was said to be very good
The chicken cordon bleu came with carrots and tayota a local vegetable.  The barbecued chicken was served on a wooden slab along with a side dish of boiled yuca...which was a lot like a potato and tasty.

We discovered these fun paintings as we were getting ready to leave the parking lot.
